What was done today:
- Leveled DK enchanting to 300!
- Made fiery weapon enchants and posted them on the auction house
- Made other enchants just to level up enchanting, however realized that the amount of gold they are going for (based upon other competitors) are in the hundreds of gold! Wow!
- I saw a WoW Blogger superstar. I recognized the name because I sometimes read his/her blog. I kept looking at the character till I just Google it. I found out that it is the person/character of a popular PVP blog! I read the about page for this person and rightfully so, this character is the same one I was looking at! It was amazing! (I won't post the character's name because it will give away what server I'm on...I will reveal the server when the 30 days are up)
- I decided to not do much undercutting anymore because majority of the auction house items are items that I've sold multiple times at a certain price. I just figure they will sale eventually after all the cheap ones are bought out. Also, I will remain flexible because sometimes items just don't sell in the quantity that they once did and sometimes they go for much higher than previously listed or much lower. I am still observing these items, but making a conscious choice if I wish to undercut or not.
- It is very important: Do not lower your price of an item when you know for a fact that it can be bought for a certain range of prices. You do not need to be the fastest buyer or the lowest item on the auction house! Trust me, people will buy out the cheap ones and buy yours which should be much higher than the competition listed it for (don't have the price outrageous either). I have seen it many times yesterday when I just gave up having to undercut people because they will undercut you in a second. Found out that sticking to my guns, I ended up selling a good portion of items that I did not lower the price on because there were many lower priced items listed under mine. Patience is gold, no it's platinum!
- Also, do not be in a rush to be the lowest item listed!!! It creates so much stress. I noticed that I have been stressed lately and it is due to the fact that I allowed people who have undercut me to get under my skin. At this point of things, I know eventually my items will sell sooner or later. They always do. I cannot watch my items 24/7 and I don't want to, I got other things I want to do. There is nothing to worry about. Life is too short to get anal about every little detail. I post my items now when they expire and when I re-post I see if I will continue to sell it at the price I've always have, increase the price, or lower it. I may even increase or decrease the quantity of the items I post or change the stack sizes of them. That is it. I will continue to look for new deals, I will post them base on the information and research that I get and make a judgement call on the price. If it is wrong (which nothing is because everything is a learning opportunity and there is nothing wrong with that!!!) then I will change it. I have been so stressed that my items have not been selling as fast anymore and my fun level decreased (mind you, I still am making 1,000 or more gold a day...lol). I decided today that I do not need to undercut all the time.
- SO...if the item that you post does not sell, re-post it
- if it continues to not sell after 3 tries, lower the price, quantity, stack size
- if it continues to not sell after 3 more tries, just lower it a little bit more
- if it continues to not sell after that, just keep posting (or put it in your bank)...it will sell eventually....and you should be looking at other items instead of worrying about this one thing selling!!
- If all fails, just vendor it...it's still gold, silver or copper that you are getting...it funds, something that will move you closer to your goals...appreciate what you receive no matter how small it is!!!
