Let's see if I can make it to 40k by the end of the 8 days left!
Nothing done today. I logged in this morning, scanned, done a resale search, purchased some items, re-post expired items, posted the new items I purchased, learned a new glyph, made two each of the new glyph, posted that, scanned Market Watcher, scanned the horde side, and log out.
I did this again at night, instead I just scanned, got my winnings and the few expired items I had, re-posted them, scanned Market Watcher, and logged out.
Like I stated before, this is all I will be doing till the end of the run.
I'm still wondering what I will do with all of this gold on had that I have. I currently have 11,556g 92s 22c on hand. I will have to say that this is the most gold that I remembered having so quickly (3 1/2 weeks long) out of my WoW playing career. I got this much within 2-3 days just putting glyphs up on my hunter on my home server. However, on this server, I do not have a team of alts with professions. Granted, I have my level 12 banker who is an inscriptionist, but I did not purchase any of the glyphs to learn. I just do the research and make what I learn from that.
On my death knight, I kept her at 58, which I am now very happy I did. One reason I did this is because the Outlands vendor items were posted very cheap on the auction house with medium to high competition. It was not worth me investing more time into going into that area. I learned enchanting on her. Looking back, it was okay to do this, however I see that I did not have to do this. I did not have to do this because only a few scrolls sold and I maybe have had better opportunities to just searched for low priced scrolls on the auction house, purchased them and re-posted them for higher prices. I see that would have been the best route instead of investing time and gold into this plan for the DK. I do not regret doing this, but now know that I learned a great deal. I see now, that I did not need to make a death knight at all, nor invest in learning a crafting profession. I got the gold back, tripled, that was not the point. The point is that now I see that I could have done it without the help of leveling up characters to provide gold making opportunities. Yes, it would have, but it is not required. I see that I could have save a lot of time, not making the shaman nor the death knight and concentrated on looking into other markets that I overlooked and researched more into pipelines. I found a nice handful of pipelines for the first time ever since purchasing Massive Gold Blueprint (almost a year now).
On my shaman, I leveled her to 47, but stopped. I was intending to level her to 85, but I got busy and the amount of time that it would've taken me to get to that point would've been over the time of this 30 day speed run. I learned jewel crafting on her with the idea I was going to level 85, but I stopped. My displeasure with the server in regards to guild recruitment and my desire went out of the window, I just gave up on that plan. Granted, prospecting ore helped a good deal. Some of the pipelines I found where from that. Again, it would have save me a considerable amount of time to just looked into the gem market, purchased the cheap, re-post for market or high. I found out that I did not need to make a leveling character at all to make gold. Yes, it helps a lot, but it is not required.
Again, I do not know what to do about the gold that I have. The guild that I have, I'm am unable to transfer because it is not level 2 or 5 ( I forgot the level requirement). I could level my shaman or another character to 71, but I really do not have any interest with that. The idea just makes me cringe with pain. I don't know, maybe give it away to a nice lucky player at level 10. I can say, "Hello, happy new year, here is 15,000 gold for you!!!" Maybe, I would do that. I don't need it since I will probably go back to my server once this thing is over (if I am still playing since I will be going to SWTOR). I'll think more about it.
Goodnight all.
